Dehradun → Sankri
8–9h drive — A long, scenic drive from Dehradun to the trail-head village of Sankri — the gateway to the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary. You leave by 7 AM, climb past Mussoorie and Kempty Falls, drop into the Yamuna valley, and follow the Tons river upstream through Naugaon, Purola, Mori and Netwar. The 200 km, 8–9 hour journey ends at Sankri (~6,400 ft) by evening, with views straight out at the Greater Himalayan peaks including Swargarohini on a clear day.

Sankri → Osla
~1h drive + 6–7h trek — A short 12 km drive (about an hour) takes you to Taluka (~6,900 ft) where the motor road ends. From there the trail follows the Supin river through dense forests of pine, walnut, chestnut and willow, crossing wooden bridges and waterfalls. You pass the tiny hamlets of Gangad and Datmir before reaching the historic twin villages of Seema and Osla (~8,400 ft) — home to 500-year-old wooden temples and a culture almost untouched for centuries. 13–14 km, 6–7 hours.

Osla/Seema → Waterfall campsite
6–7h — From Osla/Seema the trail climbs steadily for the first hour and then opens as the forest thins and the upper Supin valley reveals itself. Gentle ups and downs, bridges over icy side streams and summer shepherd meadows. After 13 km and 6–7 hours you reach the Waterfall campsite (~9,300 ft) — a flat clearing beside a roaring side stream and tall ribbon waterfall, with Swargarohini and Hata Peak now in clear view.

Waterfall ↔ Har Ki Dun (day visit)
6–7h — The headline day — a 12 km round-trip day hike from the Waterfall campsite up to the Har Ki Dun meadows at 11,675 ft. You leave the tents standing and climb steadily along the right bank of the Supin through alpine meadows, past the confluence where the river splits towards Jaundar Glacier and Ruinsara. The valley opens into the wide 'Valley of Gods' — ringed by Swargarohini I, II and III, Hata Peak and Black Peak, with the Jaundar Glacier at its head. Optional walk towards Marinda Tal before descending.

Waterfall → Osla/Seema
6–7h — After breakfast you pack up and retrace your steps down the upper Supin valley towards Osla and Seema. The 13 km descent takes 6–7 hours but feels easier going downhill, with the river on your side and the high peaks behind you. Same waterfalls and meadows as the way up, but everything looks different in reverse light. By late afternoon you're back in Osla — time to visit the Someshwar temple and chat with locals over chai before dinner.
