Your adventure begins with a scenic 45-minute gypsy ride from Rishikesh city center to the takeoff point near Thano (Airport Road area, approximately 20 km away). As your vehicle climbs the winding mountain roads, the anticipation builds with every turn.
At the launch site, certified pilots conduct a comprehensive safety briefing before strapping you into a dual-seat harness. A few running steps, and suddenly—you're airborne! Glide at speeds of 40-60 kmph while drinking in panoramic views of the Himalayan foothills, dense Sal forests, and the sacred Ganges snaking through lush valleys below.
Classic flights last 7-10 minutes of pure aerial bliss, while extended flights (15-25 minutes) allow experienced thermals for longer glide time. Every flight includes complimentary GoPro video footage so you can relive and share your sky-high moment.
Paragliding in Rishikesh operates year-round (September to June), with ideal flying conditions during March-May and September-November when thermals are stable and visibility is crystal clear. All flights are weather-dependent—if conditions aren't perfect, your safety comes first.
